Scentsy goes to the Markets

On the 19th October we took Scentsy to the 

Byford Arts and Produce Market for the first time EVER!! 

                    

I was nervous and excited at the same time. Unfortunately, the weather was awful and we spent the whole time trying to protect the products from the non-stop tsunami rain and ridiculous wind. Note to self: buy marquee walls and wear a snow suit next time. 

 The market also closed a few hours early, but not before we could gather some interest, sell a few things and take some happy snaps of the experience! 

At least we will be more prepared for next time, and hope that the weather is kinder to us :)

The BIG Announcement

Scentsy is known for their AMAZEBALLS incentive trips where they send consultants on an all-expenses-paid exotic holiday to reward them for all of their hard work! Since the addition of Australia to the Scentsy Family we have been hanging out for news of whether or not, we too, would get an awesome incentive trip to work towards! 

Everyone was mad with excitement when we heard that Orville and Heidi Thompson, the founders of Scentsy, were coming to the Australian Welcome Meetings to give a HUGE announcement that could not be missed!

Unfortunately they were only heading to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, so we had to miss out on the meeting but the news is all the same. Where are we off to next year...? Greece? Hawaii? The Bahamas? 

Even better...

L.A BABY!!

If we are lucky, next July 5th-14th we will be on our way to 3 days in the City of Angels and the rest of the time spent in St. Louis, Missouri to join the North American Consultants at the 10-year anniversary celebration of Scentsy! A SCENTSY FAMILY REUNION that will be a party to remember!!

This will be our chance to catch up with our beautiful sponsor Susan, our lovely director SueAnn and the incredible Orville & Heidi... and of course the MANY other amazing people that make up our Scentsy team! A chance to experience the generosity of the Scentsy Family and make some amazing memories! 

All we have to do is work our butts off, to earn this amazing trip that is so incredibly achievable! There are so many different ways to earn credits! Any consultant that reaches the required amount of points gets to go. We are hoping to earn the trip for 2 people so Brad and I can go together! I think he'd pack himself in my suitcase otherwise... there's no way he would want to miss out on this opportunity! 

The qualifying period is from November 1st to March 31st! Now is the time to join so YOU can join us on an all-expenses-paid trip to America! Disney Land and Beverly Hills,

Escential to Star in a Flash!

At first look Scentsy has a complicated compensation plan. However, after staring at it for hours on end it all starts to make sense... 

Our journey began as lowly Escential Consultants where you get paid a 20% commission on your Personal Retail Volume or PRV (A global point system that Scentsy has worked out to be fair to ALL consultants across the globe!). 

The goal for our first month of consultancy was to reach certified consultant, all you had to do was reach 1000 in lifetime PRV to earn that coveted extra 5% commission. We thought this was very reasonable, seeing as neither of us have experience in direct selling. We were trying not to expect much in case it was an epic fail of an experience, but we had always thought, "well if it's a fail at least we have all this cool stuff for ourselves, and it didn't cost all that much". 

HOWEVER, we have been incredibly blessed and absolutely blown away by how easy it has been to absolutely climb the crap out of the Scentsy Ladder. In less than one month, we managed to make it all the way up to Star Consultant! Making me one of the first 10 star consultants in all of Australia! I never dreamed of progressing so far SO quickly and on top of that achieving Scentsy's Shooting Star Award (Making 500 PRV in the first 15 days) and Scentsational Start Level 2 (Theres still time to make level 3, fingers crossed). These incentives are fantastic and are so exciting to reach! I cant wait to get my charms & pins! 

Our next goal is to reach Super Star Consultant... then we'll be Directors in no time! :)

The Why?

On September 2nd we started our super fun journey with the Scentsy Family. Brad and I were so excited we woke up at a ridiculous hour of the morning (3am, if i remember correctly) to be able to sign up as Independent Consultants for Scentsy Fragrance and Grace Adele Handbags! (B-rad luurves his handbags ;) ). Like all good things, there was a slight delay, so we went back to sleep... But we were back up in time to constantly click the refresh button for the new 9am launch! We were signed up within the first 3 minutes!! Because of the excitement I sped through the process SO quickly, we were convinced we were the no. 1 consultant in Australia :P. All we had to do then was wait for our kits to come...

Scentsy Fragrance if you haven't heard all about it already is a wickless candle company, specialising in uniquely formulated wax and electric warmers. There are 65 fantabulous scents to choose from and a huge range of warmers! As well as body products, laundry care and MORE! 
Grace Adele is a full line of stunning and expertly made handbags, clutches, wallets and accessories!

I was in love with the idea of Scentsy from the very first time our lovely Canadian friends mentioned it to us! With my love of candles and all things that smell delicious, it was a no-brainer! And as soon as i saw the owl warmer it was a MUST HAVE! However, it took me awhile to warm up to GA. I thought whats so different about these bags than any other bag, and i'll tell you after I looked into the concept a bit more, the more and more I thought about it the more i wanted to try. I knew I had made the right decision when i received my starter kit! Who doesn't want an amazing, aesthetically pleasing and functional handbag! GA bags have a pretty interior with just the right amount of pockets and zips, so everything has a place! I LOVE easy access to my phone AND papaw cream!! Not to mention the customisability... chances of someone having the same combo as me are slim. 

Having the chance to flexibly work around my increasingly busy uni schedule is a dream come true... I can work from home in my spare time and its actually FUN! Helping people decide on scents and warmers is so exciting! Even placing the order, tracking its progress and finally receiving it, brings much joy to the children (Me & Brad)! The hardest part about this business is choosing what to spend my free product credit and half price items on!! #ScentsyConsultantProblems 

The day our start kits arrived was a joyous one indeed!! Every time we get a Scentsy parcel its like Christmas! We are so excited to build our business and we are already watching our team grow like crazy! :)
